MBSR PROGRAM

WEDNESDAYS  •  10:30AM-12PM  •  OCTOBER 16TH - DECEMBER 11TH

  

MBSR is a blend of meditation, body awareness, and yoga. In this 8 week program we will learn through practice and study how our bodies handle and can resolve stress neurologically. During this MBSR program, we will learn skills that increase our ability to:

  • Cope with stress, pain and the challenges of everyday life

  • Deal with disturbing events with grace and composure

  • Be fully present and alive in every moment

This course is highly experiential and the daily practice is important. It takes time and practice to use these mindfulness techniques effectively:

  • 8 consecutive, weekly 1.5 hour sessions in group

  • daily, at home mindfulness practices 20-40 minutes in length

MEDITATION FOR ALL

WEDNESDAYS  •  12:15PM-1PM  •  OCTOBER 16TH - NOVEMBER 20TH

  

During this class you will be guided into a more accepting mindset through the use of guided imagery and affirmations that help you re-program your mind body and emotions to become naturally balanced. Anyone open yet skeptical to the benefits of regular meditation could enjoy this class. Take a break from your busy day and join us on your lunch hour, returning to work feeling refreshed.

This course is experiential:

  • 6 consecutive, weekly classes

  • brief discussions of a different type of meditation each week followed by practice

  • in-class meditation practices 15-40 minutes in length

MBSR GRADUATES PROGRAM

THE 4TH SATURDAY EACH MONTH  •  10AM - 11AM  •  ONGOING

  

As graduates of a previous 8 week MBSR program, we acknowledge that it takes time and practice to use mindfulness techniques effectively. In this monthly Graduates Program we will expand on our MBSR foundations, sharing and learning through practice and study. During this MBSR Graduates Program, we will continue to share skills that increase our ability to:

  • Cope with stress, pain and the challenges of everyday life

  • Deal with disturbing events with grace and composure

  • Be fully present and alive in every moment

This MBSR Graduates Program may combine meditation, body awareness, and yoga into educational and supportive sessions.
